Trail running agency
Running trips in Europe, made to order.
Runcation plans custom trail running trips. You bring the group and the dates. We shape the route, the days on the trail, and the places you stay.
A trail running agency, not a departure list.
Runcation organises trail running travel for private groups. There is no public calendar of set tours and no spare seat on someone else’s week. The trip starts from the people who are actually coming.
That can be friends, a club, or a couple who want the logistics handled. Daily distance and climb follow the group — a steady pace, a faster one, or a mix, with a shorter option on the harder days.
Custom trips
Tell us the running. We build the week.
Every trip is arranged on request. Season, fitness, and how you like to travel decide the region, the nights, and how much running sits in each day.

01
The brief
Who is travelling, when you can go, and what a good running day looks like.
-
02
The route
A region in Europe, a sequence of days, where you sleep, and how you move between trails.
-
03
The trip
Once the shape is right, we confirm the details and you travel as your own group.
Europe
The map stays open.
Trips run across Europe. The place depends on the season, the group, and the kind of trail you want. These are starting points, not a catalogue.
-
Alps
High trails, hut days, and a lot of vertical.
-
Dolomites
Pale rock, exposed paths, short moves between valleys.
-
Pyrenees
Long ridges and quieter towns on either side.
-
Highlands
Open hills, changing weather, inns and bothies.
-
Balkans
Limestone, forest, and trails with fewer people.
-
Mediterranean
Warmer months, coastal ridges, lighter days.
What a day can look like
An illustration of the pacing, not a fixed itinerary. The real day follows your group.
- Start after breakfast, from the door or a short transfer.
- A morning trail with the main climb of the day.
- A long lunch in a village or a hut.
- An optional afternoon loop for anyone who wants more.
- Evening in the same place, or a move to the next valley.

Dates, how many runners, and the kind of terrain you have in mind are enough to begin. Write to hello@runcation.eu or use the form — it opens your email with the note filled in.
